Hi, my name is Amber Estrada!
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and licensed professional clinical counselor. I graduated with my master's in counseling psychology from California Baptist University. I have experience with various age groups, populations, and diverse backgrounds. My therapeutic approach is client-centered, with the client being the navigator toward their goals. I utilize several modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment, Solution-Focused Therapy, Play therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative, Psychodynamic, and Family Systems. Areas of focus are depression, trauma, anxiety, life changes, grief, family issues, relationship issues, couples, stress management, self-esteem, identity confusion, crisis, and emotional regulation. I can provide therapeutic services in Spanish and create a culturally sensitive environment. My passion for mental health stemmed from wanting to create a safe space for others to share complex topics. As a therapist, I strive to provide a warm and safe environment that allows you to share your most vulnerable moments of life. I know therapy can seem intimidating, but I'm here to make sure we are able to navigate your mental health journey together.

I use these approaches to support clients in exploring their emotions, thoughts, and patterns while building on their strengths and resilience. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University. I also have experience providing school-based therapy at the high school level, where I supported both students and families. Whether you’re beginning therapy for the first time or returning to continue your growth, I am here to support you with empathy and a nonjudgmental presence.

Hello! My name is Alexa Hernandez and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Social Work. I have been in the mental health field for five years to support diverse populations including children, youth, families, older adults, as well as immigrant and refugee populations. I have worked in various settings including outpatient clinics, middle and high schools where clients were supported with self-esteem, family and relationship dynamics, depression, anxiety, and building independent living skills. My primary therapeutic approaches include Psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and much more that will be tailored to your needs and goals. When providing therapy, my primary focus is to help develop self-empowerment, and self-sufficiency in an effort to help others see how they can develop their greatest potential. As your therapist, I will be a guide to support you in your journey of self-development. We are a team where you will decide what to focus on and how you would like to be supported. As a Mexican American therapist, I recognize the value of culture and how it impacts every aspect of our lives. With this in mind, I practice cultural humility to explore and learn about how your culture impacts your daily life. I hope to be given the opportunity to work together in order to help you reach your fullest potential.
